Frank Pronk

Chairman

Frank Pronk serves as Chairman of EMTW and brings more than three decades of leadership experience across public service, business, governance and regional economic development. He served for seven years as Ward Councillor and Portfolio Head for Economic Development at Saldanha Bay Municipality, helping shape policy linking infrastructure investment with job creation, SMME development and local procurement. His long-standing West Coast Business Chamber leadership has helped strengthen public-private partnerships. As Owner and Strategic Director of a hardware and building supply business established more than three decades ago, he brings commercial insight to construction, procurement, logistics and infrastructure delivery. His approach centres on governance, delivery and empowerment, with an emphasis on financial sustainability and social and economic impact across the West Coast region.

Darrelle Visser Scheepers

Vice-Chairperson

Darrelle Visser Scheepers is a business strategist, financial executive and entrepreneur with experience in corporate finance, operational excellence, business transformation and property development. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Stellenbosch University and completed advanced tax studies through UNISA. Her career includes senior roles in retail, manufacturing and mining, specialising in financial management, continuous improvement, business analysis and organisational transformation. In 2004, she founded her own consultancy before later acquiring and expanding a RE/MAX franchise into one of the West Coast's leading property businesses. Darrelle became the first woman elected Chairperson of the West Coast Business Chamber in 2018. Her experience also includes strategic planning, business systems, negotiation, marketing and leadership.

Ben Booyens

Director — Business Systems & Operational Excellence

Ben Booyens brings more than 42 years of experience as a management consultant and engineering asset management optimisation consultant across the engineering, manufacturing, mining and service sectors in South Africa and Africa. With qualifications in engineering, clinical psychology and engineering asset management, he combines technical expertise with human behavioural insight to optimise organisational performance. As founder of Competence Consultants CC, established in 1996, Ben has helped organisations integrate people, technology and business processes. His approach balances cost, speed and quality through proven engineering methodologies and behavioural science, strengthening collaboration, efficiency and sustainable operational performance. He believes lasting success depends on high-performing teams and resilient organisations that consistently deliver results while exceeding client expectations.

Louis de Wet

Chief Executive Officer

Louis de Wet is Chief Executive Officer with more than 30 years of experience across education, financial services, real estate and property development. With qualifications in accountancy, education and financial planning, he built a career in financial services before leading a property agency and expanding into residential property development. His broad experience includes project feasibility, financial management and the delivery of high-quality developments. Today, Louis focuses on shaping sustainable residential communities through disciplined planning, sound governance and innovative development. His approach brings together financial acumen, strategic leadership and practical development experience to create lasting value for investors, homeowners and communities.

Jaun-Piere Lombard

Chairman

Jaun-Piere Lombard has nearly three decades of multi-sector experience in architectural excellence and infrastructure oversight, including work as a Co-Founder and Owner Representative. His expertise spans the architectural, construction and petrochemical industries, with a focus on design integrity, technical precision and project resilience. His capabilities cover concept design, design development and contract administration, informed by close attention to form, function and regulatory compliance. He brings strategic oversight to complex, high-value developments and multidisciplinary project delivery. He is recognised for integrating design intelligence with strategic oversight to safeguard quality and performance at every project stage through rigorous standards and ethical governance.

Washeila Rogers

Chief Operating Officer

Washeila Rogers is Chief Operating Officer at EMTW and Co-owner of D&H Aluminium, bringing construction-sector experience in administration, sales, marketing and project management. Her career includes roles with Prinro Building & Steel Merchants, Namakwa Sands and Builders Warehouse, building expertise in business operations, customer relationship management and commercial delivery. Working alongside the EMTW CEO, she helps translate strategy into high-value, on-time project execution while balancing speed, integrity, quality and cost. Washeila is skilled in refining project-management frameworks, optimising sales and building client partnerships that support repeat business and long-term trust. Her leadership combines operational focus, commercial capability and a relationship-driven approach.

Terri Codd

Creative Strategist & Co-founder

Terri Codd is a Creative Strategist & Co-founder with more than 40 years of experience in business growth, organisational development and leadership excellence. His career includes executive leadership, strategic planning, operations, marketing, corporate training and facilitation across corporate, entrepreneurial, franchise and direct-marketing environments. His experience spans property development, financial services, health and wellness, legal, real estate, interior design and business development. He has facilitated executive strategy, designed transformational learning programmes and mentored emerging leaders. An accomplished writer, producer and creative strategist, Terri has developed corporate communications, training programmes, marketing campaigns, stage productions and educational resources. He continues to help organisations and leaders embrace innovation and unlock potential.
